Galli (The Lane) is about the people and the Life in the Lane . The Lane in the times of a modern small town India which is restless and wants to break free from its shackles of convention, moral and existential crisis and the rigid socio-cultural structure. The Film tries to explore the incidents happening in Seven days time . It highlights the contrasts, similarities , paradoxes , randomness and abstractness of contemporary human life with the universal themes of Birth, Trust , loneliness , Frustration , Friendship , Happiness and Death. There are Fifteen stories in two forms which try to define LIFE and The Lane connects them.

This film analyses Aalto’s uniquely successful resolution of the demands and possibilities created by new technology and construction materials with the need to make his buildings sympathetic both to their users and to their natural surroundings. His inventive use of timber in particular represents both a reference to the forest landscape of Finland and a building material that is ‘warm’ and extremely adaptable. Grandma tells Kana that their marriage was far from ideal, and to Kana's surprise, Grandma reveals a secret which changes Kana's attitudes on relationships. Memories and the funeral force Kana to look inside herself and examine her own life.
