Architecture is often seen from the outside, as an inanimate object represented in still imagery. ‘REM’ exposes the human experience of architecture through dynamic film.

Liberation: Direction of the Main Blow(ru)

This five part epic war drama gives a dramatized detailed account of Soviet Union's war against Nazi Germany during world war two. Each of the five parts represents a separate major eastern front campaign.

Maine-Ocean Express(fr)

"Maine-Ocean" is the name of a train that rides from Paris to Saint-Nazaire (near the ocean). In that train, Dejanira, a Brazilian, has a brush with the two ticket inspectors. Mimi, another traveler and also a lawyer, helps her. The four of them will meet together later and live a few shifted adventures with a strange-speaking sailor (Mimi's client).

Polcan and Shavka(ru)

Two dogs, Polkan and Shavka, watched a flock of sheep by the river. Suddenly, they notice a hare, chase after him and run into the forest, where they meet face-to-face with three wolves. Shavka, chickening out, backs away, and the brave Polkan takes the fight. In a fierce fight, he manages to defeat one wolf, but from wounds he loses consciousness.

Bill is an accountant at a film company. His boss is out for the weekend so the office is under his commands. Nadia is an aspiring young film director who thinks she is a genious. They don't know each other. Through them we see the lives of their family and friends. Nick a gay former child TV star, Alexander s fat boy who wears dead singers T-shirts, Monique a french albino with burned legs, Anna the "slut" and others...Bill does not understand that he is getting older. He is fond of little girls especially his 14 year old neighbor Jenny. Nadia on the other hand seem to be attracted only by artsy fartsy men.

A Letter for Joe(en)

Joe Roberts (Evan Schwalb) idolizes his older brother, Denny (Neil Schwalb), and Denny's college friends. But to the guys, Joe is a pesky nuisance whose Christian faith makes him strange, so Denny devises an elaborate prank to write a fake letter and send Joe on a wild goose chase to strike up a friendship with the richest man in America, the reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes (Jeff Wise).

Wealthy and ill Petr Kornel (Karel Hasler) is not pleased with the carousing lifestyle of his nephew. He stops supporting him financially and demands that he change his name. Out of gratitude Kornel bequeaths a substantial sum of money to his nurse Alice (Adina Mandlová) with the condition that she marries. Petr Suk (Hugo Haas), as the nephew is now named, visits the doctor. In the waiting room his X-ray is mistakenly switched with one of another patient's. On the basis of this he presently learns that he is seriously ill and has only one day of life left to him.
