To impress her, he sneaks out and takes her on an adventure in his dad's ice cream van, during which they get into an accident and the van is badly damaged. Luckily, Angela escapes with only a few bruises, but Sloan ends up with a mild concussion and new ability to predict certain situations before they happen. Angela's Uncle Mitch is able to repair the van; he also teaches Sloan a thing or two about driving. They were once racing partners. Doug was the number one racer until he was set up by Scar, another driver who still runs his own race team. Sloan decides that he will do whatever it takes to win back a title that rightfully belongs to his family.

The fox disguises himself as a real chicken (albeit, a real big chicken)and then convinces the dog he is a rightful member of the chick-clan and deserves to roost amongst them. But his costume if torn off revealing his true identity and the dog levels his shotgun at the fox. The fox manages to get the dog on the receiving end of the weapon, but one of the roosters kills them both so he can get some sleep.

Stories about the ambitions of a child artist, the escape of a ridiculed wife into art, a single mother’s sacrifice of her life for the sake of her children, child abuse, a TV reporter’s regret of the media’s inability to celebrate positivism rather than sensationalism and negative news, a hilarious take on corruption by a broker and the west beckoning today’s youth are all interwoven. Each character, marked by failure and doubt are clearly self –censored. While they may communicate through candid expression, they subtly allude to greater truths.
