Cafe Tacuba - Un Viaje(es)

Mexican band Cafe Tacuba celebrates 15 years of making--and often revolutionizing--Spanish rock with Un Viaje. This lush, luxurious live set includes three discs of music and one electrifying DVD. The group has culled the best moments from a two-night stand in Oct. 2004 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, and the results are consistently electric. Every song, every rhythm, every guitar lick, every laugh is important, a not-to-be-missed moment. Cafe Tacuba's potent mix of music and message is a powerful thing, and the group thrives in its unflinchingly earnest, sweetly sincere approach to its art. Rich Do-won lives off the libido of a sexual plaything girl named Yoo Min-hee. One day, his elder brother, Dae-ho, is kicked out of the company after his brother's business went bankrupt and he was raising money here and there. Dae-ho visits his wife Seong-ah and borrows money from Do-won. But he can't even pay back the interest and ends up being a fugitive, and Do-won takes advantage of this opportunity to approach Dae-ho's wife. After such a hard time, Dae-ho and Seong-ah run away. However, Dae-ho dies after being caught by Do-won, who was waiting in advance, and takes the baby home alone. As time goes by, Seong-ah's body heats up and wants an active relationship, and then Do-won's unconventional demands increase. And then one day, her husband who she thought was dead, came to see her.

The Georgetown Loop (Colorado)(en)

Georgetown, 1901. A silver-mining town at 8,500 feet near the crest of the Rockies. Hooked somehow to the rear of a four-car passenger train is a camera that pans the scenery and, when the train goes around curves, looks ahead to see the engine and passenger cars: the passengers wave hundreds of white handkerchiefs out of the train's left-side windows for the benefit of the camera. The town comes into view; the tracks are above the town, so the camera looks down on dozens of modest rooftops as it pans the area. (AMB 1901, copyrighted 1903.)
