Made during the early years of the movie musical, this exuberant revue was one of the most extravagant, eclectic, and technically ambitious Hollywood productions of its day. Starring the bandleader Paul Whiteman, then widely celebrated as the King of Jazz, the film drew from Broadway variety shows to present a spectacular array of sketches, performances by such acts as the Rhythm Boys (featuring a young Bing Crosby), and orchestral numbers—all lavishly staged by veteran theater director John Murray Anderson.

An Evening with Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse(en)

The show will celebrate not only their sketch characters, but also, for the first time, will introduce the real Harry and Paul, who appear almost live on stage as themselves as they take questions and introduce their favourite sketches from programmes including Harry Enfield and Chums, Harry and Paul and Harry Enfield's Television Programme. Friends and fans pay tribute to a great comic talent in this celebration of the life and work of the hugely popular Victoria Wood, who died of cancer in April 2016 at age 62. Victoria wrote some of television's greatest comedy sketches and musicals, won two BAFTAs for her drama Housewife, 49, and was once voted by the British public as the person they would most like to have as their next door neighbour.

There were 54 performances in total. This time, he is collaborating with two of Denmark's great voices: Rikke Mølgaard and Yasmin Elvira Steenholdt. Together, they deliver a humorous, fast-paced, and, not least, musically stunning show that has received standing ovations from enthusiastic and entertained audiences across the country. Finn can be seen in both familiar and new roles: as the brave Jutland farmer, the smart Copenhagen chauffeur, the dance teacher Esther in a red sequined dress, the friendly Poul Reichardt... to name just a few examples. And, of course, no Finn Nørbygård show would be complete without music. Not only do two great voices reach beyond the edge of the stage, but three—because Finn also sings with his usual convincing power.
