A cursed deep dive into Cursed(en)

Wes Craven's 2005 werewolf film Cursed had all the makings of a horror comedy classic on paper: A zany LA werewolf premise, hip early 2000s leads like Christina Ricci, Skeet Ulrich, and Jesse Eisenberg, and the Craven/Kevin Williamson partnership that had previously birthed the Scream franchise. But Cursed would not become a classic. Instead, it would go down in history as one of the most troubled film productions of the 21st century. How and why did this happen?
