When looking through their childhood belongings, they discover a trunk which contained details on a quest their friend was attempting. They decide to continue his journey, but do not understand the dangers they will soon encounter.

These portraits are interwoven with the story of Elpi, a Greek woman who is waiting for the long overdue visit of an old important friend.
