Calucci's Department is an American television sitcom broadcast by CBS on Friday at 8:00pm Eastern Time. It premiered on September 14, 1973 and, after struggling to compete in the ratings against Sanford and Son on NBC, was cancelled after the December 28 episode. The series focused on Joe Calucci, the supervisor of a New York City unemployment office. His day was spent dealing with a disparate group of claimants, the petty squabbles among the members of his staff, the frustrations of governmental red tape, and his infatuation with his secretary Shirley.

Schneider, the only human in the school, presides over a group of ghoulish teenagers that are latest-generation versions of classic movie monsters. Most of Schneider's students are either disruptive, uninterested, and/or unduly self-preoccupied in school, and the class is generally considered disreputable if not uncontrollable (not unlike "the Sweathogs" in Welcome Back, Kotter), the implication being Schneider was hired to teach the class because no monster teacher would take the job.

NJN News was a half-hour daily broadcast television news program by the New Jersey Network which also aired in New York City on WNET Monday through Friday. It was sometimes preempted on holidays by special programming. The program began in 1978 as New Jersey Nightly News, co-produced with WNET. In 1981, NJN assumed full control of the broadcast. NJN News had its final broadcast on June 30, 2011, when NJN went off the air to be replaced by NJTV. Talent included former presenter Kent Manahan, new anchor Jim Hooker, environmental reporter Ed Rodgers, science reporter Patrick Regan, health reporter Sara Lee Kessler, and general reporters Marie DeNoia Aronson, Kent Saint John and others.

Broken News is a comedy programme shown on BBC Two in autumn 2005 and in Australia on SBS-TV from the 17 July 2006. The show poked fun at the world of 24-hour rolling news channels. The title of the show is a play on the phrase "breaking news". The show jump cut between its various spoof TV channels, which covered both the central story and other stories that would be of interest to their audience. A large part of the comedy came from observations about the nature of news presentation rather than the stories themselves.
