Hard, harder, hardest! This film orders you from the start to turn up the volume and pay attention. "Look out! We're Coming to Get You!" is a flood of images driven by a tempest of guitars. The film's creators jam 20 years of German music history into 120 minutes of film. Musicians from BLIND PASSENGERS, DIE SKEPTIKER, SANDOW and other bands explode their way through the film. Fans of the DEFA documentary "Flüstern und Schreien" ("Whisper and Shout") already know the stars of that film, Aljoscha, Paul and Flake of the band Feeling B. Here they have a chance to see how these musicians survived the period after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the "escalation of possibilities" that came with it. And you're allowed to laugh, too!

The Night. She doesn't sleep. She calls. She tells. She saw a movie. This film tells the story of two nights. One night which is not seen in images, existing only in the words of The Clock, by Minnelli, an old Hollywood film. One night which is seen in images but about which we hardly know anything, those of a woman who talks about the Clock. So, in fact there are two films, two stories that come together at the same time, getting closer, and moving away, merging with what they have in common: desire, night and the city.

Safwat, Mohammed, Zaghloul and Adel, who are surrounded by terrible social conditions, where the collapse of the family and the lack of emotional communication, they are trying to steal the apartment of an old lady who lives alone and turned down the stairs. During the robbery, the old man appears suddenly and ridicules them and insults them from their point of view. Zaghloul, a young man who tends to be fun despite his father's cruel treatment, is arrested. Adel, who wants money to arrest his girlfriend Zizi, is arrested from the cabaret shop, as well as from the cabaret. Mohammed decides the son of the lawyer Famous for Shawkat to surrender himself after he died during childbirth sweetheart Sameera, while Safwat commits suicide after his brother Shukri found his beloved Nana had speeches. The rest are arrested.

Wishbone Ash: Live At Rockpalast 1976(en)

This Rockpalast was recorded on 1st December 1976 in the Sporthalle Cologne and shows the inventors of the legendary "dual lead-guitar/twin guitar sound" with the classical line-up of the band from Andy Powell (guit., voc.), Martin Turner (bass, voc.), Steve Upton (dr.) and Laurie Wisefield (guit.) in captivating form and mood. In 1976 Wishbone Ash were at the zenith of their career. Their albums, from "Pilgrimage" to "New England", reached worldwide top positions in the album charts, were refined with silver and gold, the band was constantly on tour around the globe and tracks like "The King Will Come", "Warrior" or "Blowing Free" achieved cult status among fans of guitar-oriented progressive rock and are milestones in rock history. Characteristic of Wishbone Ash is their melodic, guitar-oriented rock, which is dominated by two electric guitars played in duet. In addition there is an almost ballad-like vocal style. This Rockpalast edition is a must for every Wishbone Ash fan!

At the tender age of 70 years, Sigrídur Níelsdóttir starts to publish her music – directly from her living room. This modern Icelandic fairy tale is one of the most beautiful stories to be told about music. In seven years, Grandma Lo-Fi recorded 59 records and wrote more than 600 songs. The creative senior is a cult figure of the Icelandic music scene and thus it seems obvious to go through Grandma Lo-Fi’s life accompanied by artists such as Múm, Sin Fang and Mr Silla.

Virgil Thomson composed many musical portraits of people as they faced him. Like a visual artist using different visual elements, Virgil established personal sketches using the palette of musical expression. EVERBEST VIRGIL perpetuates this tradition by linking the portrait of a composer to his own composition. I filmed Virgil, in his apartment at the Chelsea Hotel, in Manhattan, shortly before his death. These are the last images taken from the life of one of America's most treasured composers.
