"Out of Time" is a short film inspired by the novel "An Old Garden" by author Emmeline Morrison. It starts like any other story, of a woman who loves a man. Only difference is, there is something wrong with him; something only she knows.

Mortel has always been afraid of the monsters that hide under the bed. Because they're weird, eccentric, not like the others. But one day, he decides to face his fear for the first time, to look under the bed and discover the monstrous world.

Corner(pt)

The corner of a street is matched and mixed with the chant of a bird recorded on that same street. A symbiotic relationship is triggered: the rapid and successively repetitive montage cuts between the image of the street and the corners of the video frame itself produce new textures and shapes in our brain, whilst the sound follows the same rhythmic movements by emphasizing different “corners” (frequencies) from the bird’s singing. The energetic potency stemming from the junction of these elements creates a new image that is almost tactitle, maleable and rippling. The result is a somewhat humorous operation of the portuguese word "corner" throughout the different stages of making the piece, finally unveiling a piercing physical and kinetic experience for all the corners of our eyes and ears.

It's a hot day, and Dave hates his wife. He should be out doing exercise, spending money, meeting people. Instead, he's playing word games with her. At this point, Dave is a prisoner of marriage until the day he dies. He's losing hope and losing his marbles. But, as the game continues, a series of ironic events lead him to realize that what seems like just a stupid, old board game might be the key to his escape or, for that matter, his downfall.
