The Residents - Talking Light: Bimbo's(en)

The story of the Talking Light piece is basically that of an older man who questions, not only decisions he made as a teenager, but also if the events he remembers from that time happened at all. "A dead infant clutching a ring with an inscription the teenager cannot read" is the stuff of dreams. The following stories in the show may or may not shed light on the inscription. Questions remain unanswered. The Residents study death, not as a horrific end, but as the ultimate question that we all ask while wondering if any of it is even real. Organized by Harrison's widow, Olivia, and son, Dhani, and arranged under the musical direction of Eric Clapton and Jeff Lynne. A benefit for Harrison's Material World Charitable Foundation, the all-star concert took place on the day of the first anniversary of his death. Proceeds from the film also went to the Material World Charitable Foundation. The film was shot using discreet cameras from over twelve locations.

Frank Sinatra: In Concert at the Royal Festival Hall was an CBS musical television special starring Frank Sinatra broadcast on February 4, 1971, of a concert given by Sinatra at London's Royal Festival Hall on November 16, 1970. The special was directed by Bill Miller, and produced by Harold Davison. Sinatra was introduced on stage by Grace Kelly. Kelly had starred alongside Sinatra in the 1956 film High Society, the last film she made before her marriage to Rainier III, Prince of Monaco. Sinatra had been follicularly challenged for many years, hence all the hats in publicity stills, album covers etc. TV directors were forbidden to photograph him from the back because of this. However, at this concert, Sinatra had completed a very successful hair transplant and deliberately turned his back on the main audience a couple of times to acknowledge the audience sitting backstage, along with running his hand over the back of his head to draw attention to his new coiffure.

Toy Porno is a self-released experimental art film by The Frogs. The amateur videotape was compiled in October 1993, as a gift for Kurt Cobain. It would soon become frequent viewing material on the Nirvana tour bus, and later on the Foo Fighters tour bus as well. Later, after generated copies began circulating amongst fans, the band began selling copies at shows. The tape is only available in VHS format. The file is available for download online in various outlets.

The Paper Kites: At The Roadhouse(en)

The 'At The Roadhouse' concert film follows intimate performances and sequences by The Paper Kites, where in July 2022, the band arrived in the small regional Victoria town of Campbells Creek (140km north-east of Melbourne, Australia) to transform an empty heritage building into an American-style roadhouse. Over one month, the band performed a free, unannounced residency at 'The Roadhouse' to locals and passersby on Friday and Saturday evenings, while spending weekdays working on their new record in a barn on the same property. Captured by cinematographer Keiren Watson-Bonnic and edited by lead singer and songwriter Sam Bentley, the feature-length film will take audiences on an intimate journey reminiscent of their time at The Roadhouse, along with the landscape and beauty of Campbells Creek.

Released physically on September 11, 2024 worldwide, the film is a one-hour piece of shocking footage carefully selected from the band’s legendary visual archive, shot and directed by Junji Yasuda.
