Ann and Harold is a very early BBC television programme, and ran for five episodes, all broadcast in 1938. It is known to be the world's first drama serial ever transmitted, and explained the trials of a couple named Ann and Harold respectively, and starred Ann Todd. Little else is known about this programme. No material exists of the show today, as it was aired live before any means of recording programmes existed. In fact, it is unknown if even any photographs survive of this programme.

When Women Rule the World is an announced reality television series originally announced to premiere on Fox Broadcasting in spring 2007, then pushed to June 2, 2008, then delayed again in April 2008. However, the show never aired in the United States. The show consisted of 12 women and 12 men sent to a "primitive location" where the men were forced to be subservient to the women. The women voted off one man per week. The final man left was awarded $250,000. Cast members include Carla Turco, Jacky Reres, Mike Babassi, Robbie Kaller. Hosted by Judi Shekoni. The show was broadcast in Finland on MTV3 and in Belgium on PLUG RTL. The United Kingdom's Channel 4 negotiated with Fox for a license to make a British version of the show, which aired for eight weeks starting on 4 September 2008. The UK version was filmed in the Dominican Republic and hosted by Steve Jones. The show consisted of eight women and ten men. Oliver Banks won the competition, beating G-Range in the final. His prize was £30,000.
Book TV is the name given to weekend programming on the American cable network C-SPAN2 airing from 8 a.m. Eastern Time Saturday morning to 8 a.m. Eastern Time Monday morning each week. The 48 hour block of programming is focused on non-fiction books and authors, featuring programs in the format of interviews with authors as well as live coverage of book events from around the country. Book TV debuted on C-SPAN2 on September 12, 1998. While the primary mission of C-SPAN2 is live coverage of the United States Senate, Book TV programs are sometimes also scheduled to air during the week when the Senate is not in session.
Mr Don & Mr George was a Channel 4 sitcom, featuring two characters from the Scottish comedy sketch show Absolutely. Moray Hunter and Jack Docherty played two unrelated characters who happened to share a surname. Hunter and Docherty wrote the series and it was made by their production company, Absolutely Productions. The humour was surreal and often featured ridiculous visual gags and wordplay. A single six-episode series was made, and was first broadcast in the UK on Channel 4 in 1993. The series was released on VHS in the 1990s. A single VHS tape was released with all six episodes on as well. This tape stated that it had the entire first series on one tape, however no further series were made.

He is driven by his never ending appetite for man made fishfingers and will beg, steal and borrow to get them. The series is aimed at pre-school and primary school kids. In a lightly educational, but nevertheless entertaining and funny way it helps to promote a better understanding of Pacific cultures amongst children of all descents.
