BABYMETAL Live at Budokan - Red Night - LEGEND Corset Festival Extra - APOCALYPSE(ja)

RED NIGHT LEGEND "Giant Corset Festival" was a concert held on March 1, 2014, at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. BABYMETAL became the youngest band to perform at the venue. Both concerts followed shortly after the release of their debut studio album BABYMETAL, on February 26, 2014, with the album and the shows having been announced at the LEGEND "1997" concert. Both shows featured the full support of a live metal band called the KAMI BAND. For RED NIGHT, fans were required to wear corsets around their necks, reminiscent of their first solo show, the Corset Festival at Meguro Rokumeikan.

A premature crack baby abandoned in an inner city dumpster embarks on a surreal journey through a landscape of urban decay in directors James Bickert and Randy Hills. Mostly shot in San Francisco and Northern California, material filmed (using the camera almost as a p[r/a]inter, a means of shaping the visual world as film, but without reflection) in response to what that world was opening in me. "Material!" - analogies between weaving and spinning thread and images already a pattern within film history (e.g., in Deren) is here carried into further ramifications of unraveling and patterning in fabric- and cinema-making, as well as in personal and mythic dimensions. The open unfolding structure, which pulls away from the balanced design of much of my work, gives equal weight to the sound composition. Involves "opening" with its perils and ambiguities.

K1 World MAX 2006 Champions' Challenge(en)

K-1 World MAX 2006 Champions Challenge was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 organization. The majority of the matches featured some of the world's best fighters against the best fighters in Japan, and were all fought under K-1 MAX Rules (70 kg/152 lb weight class). In total there were twenty-four fighters, representing twelve countries. The main event involved K-1 MAX 2006 runner up Andy Souwer against Japanese kickboxer Taishin Kohiruimaki. It was held in Tokyo, at the Ariake Colosseum, on Monday, September 4, 2006.
