The long, cold winter has just hit New England, and while the bluefin tuna season has come to an end in Gloucester, Mass., it’s just getting started in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After a disappointing season, several of Gloucester’s top fishermen head south to try to salvage their finances by fishing for the elusive bluefin tuna in unfamiliar Carolina waters before the experienced locals beat them to the catch. It’s a whole new battlefield and the Northern captains must conquer new styles of fishing, treacherous waters and the wrath of the Outer Banks’ top fishermen. Degrassi High is the third television show in the Degrassi series of teen dramas about the lives of a group of teenagers living on or near De Grassi Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It first aired from 1989 to 1991 and followed the young people from The Kids of Degrassi Street and Degrassi Junior High through high school. The show was filmed in downtown Toronto and at Centennial College. Much like its predecessor, Degrassi High dealt with controversial issues ranging from AIDS, abortion, abuse, alcoholism, cheating, sex, death and suicide, dating, depression, bullying, gay rights, homophobia, racism, the environment, drugs, and eating disorders. But in the end, he finds out she's actually a good and kind person, despite her lowly beginnings, and gradually falls in love with her.

Jushin Liger is an anime superhero TV series created by Go Nagai. Produced by Sunrise Inc. with cooperation of Dynamic Planning, the series was originally broadcast on Nagoya Broadcasting Network /TV Asahi from March 11, 1989 to January 27, 1990 with a total of 43 episodes. A manga series, written and drawn by Go Nagai, was also released alongside the anime, originally published by Kodansha in the magazine Comic Bom Bom from March 1989 to January 1990. This anime series inspired the real-life pro-wrestler, Jushin "Thunder" Liger. The opening theme "Ikari no Jushin", which was performed by Yumi Hiroki, is also wrestler Jushin "Thunder" Liger's theme song. The song "Kiseki no Jushin" was also used by Liger on occasion.
