A teeny weenie bit of submission, a little diplomacy, a dose of patience, a touche of kindness, a spot of deceit, this is the cocktailthat allows Ponpon to overcome the endless ordeal that life amongst humans represents. From episode to episode, from one hazard to the next, from vague misunderstanding to sheer muddle, the same question remains: He escaped from Hell, but will he survive Paradise?

Hoffmaniada(ru)

The film will be based around three of Hoffmann's tales (Klein Zaches, The Golden Pot and The Sandman), with the main character being Hoffmann himself. In particular, it will focus on the duality between the imaginative universe of his writings and his real-life profession as a government clerk (which will be based on his letters and journals)

1984(en)

A film commissioned and conceived by the artist Eduardo Paolozzi using drawings and photocopies provided by him. A non-narrative film focusing on Paolozzi's themes about modern man.

The Aeronauts(es)

A tribe survives in the middle of the desert on the meager pickings of a barren landscape. Soo'goh, the weakest member of the clan, seeks to overcome all obstacles and to reach the green pastures of the paradise that they all yearn for.

Moomins and the Winter Wonderland(fi)

This winter is extraordinary; Moomintroll decides to stay awake to explore the winter instead of hibernating as usually. And winters are certainly totally different than he had imagined. Strangest creatures wander amidst the snowdrifts; midwinter darkness surrounds the Moominvalley, and on top of that, an eccentric guest is soon to appear. Then, Strawberry, Rainbow Sherbet, Blueberry Muffin, Coco and Seaberry become mermaids in search of hidden treasure. In the process they meet a real-life Sea Beast and try to undo a mysterious magic spell.

The film existed only in Jacque’s memory because all that remained were the two cardboard thief characters. Jacques called upon his memories to recreate the decor and the characters with a decorator. The operator then filmed frame by frame to reconstruct the film.

Manly Feelings(nl)

Manly Feelings is a short film by Chris Blom, about the difficulty that many men face while experiencing, expressing, and sharing the difficult emotion of sadness. The film lingers in this place of difficulty through interviews with men, supported by metaphorical imagery.
